There are some distinct differences between the online "print on demand" t-shirt
companies and PrintMojo.
All of our garments are screen printed or embroidered (we do not print on demand or use heat transfers), which means that there
are no garment color restrictions or printing quality issues. The products
we produce are retail quality, as good as, or better than, the products you
will see in any fine retail outlet.
Because we only deal with screen printing and embroidery (as opposed to
a digital heat press or dye sublimation process used by the other services),
we are not able to offer "Print on Demand" type services.
Different
Setup - Different Printing Process - Professional Results
Screen printing and embroidery both have a detailed setup process to ensure
the highest quality print output.
Because of this setup process, it is
not possible time-wise or cost-wise to print on demand. In addition to the
different setup process, traditional screen printing offers a much better,
brighter, longer lasting printing process than heat press or
dye sublimated designs.
Screen
Printing or silk screening is a printing process used to print both clothing
and non-clothing items.
It
is the standard printing method for the T-shirt Industry.
Screen-printing
is a process where a design, drawing, or other format is converted to
a film, and the film is transferred to a screen.
The number of
screens for any design is based on the number of colors of the design. Inks
are then transferred through the tiny dots in the screen to the garment in
a proper order to achieve the desired result. The process involves exact
pressures, specialized
inks, and heat curing to result in a long lasting design.
With this setup and
printing process comes a product that can be washed without fading,
and a
selection of garment styles and colors that are in big demand.
And yes, we can even
print complex designs, full color artwork, and intricate fades using our years of experience, combined with the latest screen printing
methods and equipment.
How to have items in your PrintMojo shop
This means, that to have inventory at PrintMojo, you would need to place
an order through our system (at wholesale prices of course) and when you have
inventory in your shop, this means that the products are printed and ready
to be shipped out when your customers order.
The beauty of the Print Mojo system is that we can grow as your business grows.
If you are just starting out and you want to test market a new design, you can
have us print up a run of say, 25 t-shirts with that new design. We'll give
you a great wholesale price for those 25 shirts, and when they sell, we can
give you an even better price when you want to increase the print run for that
design to say, 100 shirts.
